Today, on the 17th November 2022, the Government of the People's Republic of Edristan along with the Edristani postal service has announced the release of a new set of 2 postage stamps commemorating this years International Magazine Day.

What is special about these stamps however, is their format: They are the first non-rectangular postage stamps of the Republic.
A total of 240 Stamps, 120 of each, have been printed according to the EPS. As this is an unusually high number of issues, the EPS deems it unlikely that it will run out of them soon. They have entered sale locally, and can be bought at edristan.government@gmail.com at face value (3,50R/0,35€ and 7,50R/0,75€).
Regarding the next stamp issue, the EPS has stated that a block issue featuring the former local railway, the "Bröltalbahn" may be issued in December to January.
